Jennifer's background
Jennifer and her husband Bryan have been married for fourteen years,. She is the mother of three children, two of whom attend Bellmont. She was a licensed practical nurse for many years. She then obtained a Bachelor of Science from Indiana Tech, graduating summa cum laude, and went on to graduate from Indiana Tech Law School. She has been a practicing attorney since 2017, and is a managing partner at Close & Hitchcock, LLP.

She is passionate about school safety, supporting our police, improving our quality of life in Decatur, and encouraging appropriate new businesses to come to Decatur to strengthen our local economy.

Jennifer believes that by working together we can create a stronger sense of community in Decatur. She believes that government should work for the people, and understand the community they serve.
